A l’occasion du cinquantenaire de la disparition de Louis Armstrong, Jérôme Etcheberry, l’un des meilleurs trompettistes de la scène française, a tenu à rendre hommage à « Satchmo » en dirigeant un orchestre original de 8 musiciens, le Popstet, qui réinterprète quelques-unes des plus célèbres compositions du Maître, avec swing et passion et nous entraîne dans les folles soirées des ballrooms du Chicago des années 20 !

On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the disappearance of Louis Armstrong, Jérôme Etcheberry, one of the best trumpeters on the French scene, paid tribute to “Satchmo” by conducting an original orchestra of 8 musicians, the Popstet, which reinterprets some of the most famous compositions of the Master, with swing and passion and takes us in the crazy evenings of the Chicago ballrooms of the 20s!
