Avec un son magnifique ancré dans la voix incomparable de Leigh Nash et le jeu de guitare complexe de Matt Slocum\, leurs performances live captivent complètement le public. \nFormé en 1992 par Matt Slocum et Leigh Nash à New Braunfels\, au Texas\, Sixpence None the Richer compte désormais six albums et le tout nouvel EP Rosemary Hill. Le groupe est sans doute surtout connu pour ses singles à succès\, notamment “Kiss Me”\, qui a atteint la deuxième place du Billboard Hot 100 et s’est classé dans le top 10 dans seize pays\, ainsi que “There She Goes”\, “Breathe Your Name” et “Don’t Dream It’s Over”. \nLe groupe a été salué par la critique\, nominé pour deux Grammy Awards\, a remporté de nombreux Dove Awards et a reçu des distinctions telles que “Top Soundtrack Single” aux Billboard Music Awards et “Best Song” aux Young Hollywood Awards. Leur reprise de There She Goes des La’s a été élue « Top Song » aux BMI Pop Awards en 2001. \nAprès s’être reformé en 2024\, le groupe s’est lancé dans une grande tournée et a sorti le nouvel EP Rosemary Hill.
