DESCRIPTION:Il faut venir si vous aimez… Alex G\, Elliott Smith\, DIIV \n \nSHALLOWATER (22h00)\n(Indie shoegaze – Texas\, US)\nNé là où le Dust Bowl n’a jamais disparu\, le trio originaire de l’ouest du Texas connu sous le nom de Shallowater – Blake Skipper (guitare/chant)\, Tristan Kelly (basse) et Ryan Faulkenberry (batterie) – mêle des éléments de slowcore\, de post-hardcore\, de country et d’Americana qui défient toute catégorisation. S’imposant rapidement comme un groupe à suivre sur la scène alt-country/slowcore\, le « raw West Texas dirtgaze » – comme le décrit lui-même ce trio puissant – a positionné le groupe comme une force évocatrice et distinctive parmi les projets actuels mêlant les genres alternatifs.\nLe groupe a sorti son deuxième album\, God’s Gonna Give You a Million Dollars\, en septembre 2025\, suscitant l’engouement de Stereogum\, Brooklyn Vegan\, Alt Press\, Beats per Minute\, Fantano et bien d’autres.
